The field house is the indoor building in the park, rented for parties and gatherings from September through May, with a pavilion outside rented April through October.

The park's summer draw is Schlegel Park Pool, which has a diving well, a spray pad for small children, and a 3 to 5 foot area for swimmers using floats. The 2026 season opened June 6 and runs through Labor Day weekend, with daily admission of $11 for ages 4 and up and season memberships priced for city residents and non-residents.
