Family-Focused Outdoor Learning & After School Programs

At Top Water Trips, families find a welcoming atmosphere that engages anglers of every generation. As an after school program and fishing camp organiser, we tailor lessons to children and adults alike, ensuring young learners absorb fly-fishing essentials without feeling overwhelmed. Parents appreciate Kevin’s gentle encouragement and interactive approach—your eight-year-old might conquer paddle strokes one moment and land a smallmouth bass the next. Engaging activities, like wildlife scavenger hunts along riverbanks and knot-tying challenges, enrich each outing. We foster confidence, teamwork, and respect for nature, nurturing the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts.

Unique Tours & Culinary Excellence

Our passion for outdoor experiences extends beyond paddles and rods. Top Water Trips doubles as a boat tour agency by offering the October Full Moon Kayak Tour—an evening paddle bathed in lunar light. Guests describe it as magical: top-quality gear, clear guidance, and a serene riverscape illuminated by the harvest moon. And when hunger strikes, Kevin transforms into an outstanding chef, serving up some of the best meals you’ll ever taste on a fishing trip. From fresh-caught fillets to hearty campfire stews, our professional chef services are the unexpected delight that elevates every adventure into a full-service retreat.

Legendary Catches & Scenic Wildlife Encounters

One of Top Water Trips’ hallmark achievements is putting clients on trophy-size fish again and again. Fishermen have reeled in two dozen smallmouth bass in a single outing, while one group famously landed a “monster” 35-inch Musky on topwater—an epic catch many anglers only dream about in a lifetime of fly fishing. Equally unforgettable are the wildlife sightings: bald eagles soaring overhead, red foxes slinking along the bank, and herons stalking shallows. These natural encounters, combined with lush river corridors and open skies, transform a good trip into an extraordinary expedition you’ll recount for years.
