Your Place Or Mine Pet Sitting

Nestled in the heart of Columbia, PA, Your Place Or Mine Pet Sitting offers dedicated, professional pet-sitting services designed to give both you and your furry family members total peace of mind. Founded by Jessica (“Jess”) and supported by a team of passionate, animal-loving staff, we specialize in in-home visits, daily dog walks, overnight stays at our sitter’s home, and tailored care plans for dogs, cats, and small animals. Every engagement begins with a personalized consultation in which we learn your pet’s routine, health needs, and personality quirks. Whether you need midday check-ins during a busy workweek or an extended retreat at our welcoming “second home,” we adapt our services to match your schedule and your pet’s comfort level.

Trust & Professionalism That Puts Pets First

When it comes to choosing someone to care for your beloved companion, trust is non-negotiable. From your very first conversation, you’ll discover why clients rave, “Jess and her friendly and professional staff always exceed expectations! I have 100% trust in her business to take the absolute best care of my babies!” Our team’s veterinary background, outstanding credentials, and genuine affection create the perfect blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt service. We treat every pet as if they were our own—always respectful of your home and routine—so you can step away with confidence.

Reliable & Punctual Care You Can Count On

Consistent, on-time visits are the backbone of our service. We understand that your dog’s afternoon walk or your cat’s evening feeding isn’t just a convenience; it’s part of a trusted routine. As one local pet parent put it, “Always on time and always with care.” Whether it’s a 15-minute midday check or a longer play session, we adhere strictly to your requested schedule. This unwavering reliability eliminates worry and allows you to focus on work, travel, or family, knowing your pet is cared for exactly when they expect it.

Clear Communication & After-Hours Responsiveness

Staying connected to your pet’s day shouldn’t stop when you walk out the door. At Your Place Or Mine Pet Sitting, we pride ourselves on open, transparent communication—morning, noon, and night. Every visit includes a detailed digital log outlining activities, behavior notes, and any special observations. We back those updates with photos or short videos that bring you into your pet’s world. And if questions arise after “office hours,” you’ll find us ready at the other end of the line: “Even when I had a question at 9PM, they picked up my call and assisted me,” reports one relieved owner.

Specialized Medical & Special-Needs Expertise

Pets with unique health requirements deserve a sitter who truly understands veterinary care. Thanks to Jess’s years of clinical experience, we confidently manage medication schedules, administer insulin shots, monitor chronic conditions, and provide post-surgical support. One grateful customer shared, “Jess is the answer to our prayers! She can identify if your pet would become sick, and she knows exactly how to help.” From specialized diets to careful observation of healing wounds, our medically informed approach ensures that your pet’s well-being is never left to chance.

Personalized Attention Ensuring Pet Comfort

Every animal’s personality shines through when given the right amount of love and stimulation. At Your Place Or Mine, we tailor each visit to the individual temperament of your pet—whether coaxing a shy cat out from under the bed or keeping an energetic pup happily engaged with games and long leash-free romps. Reviewers continually note how quickly anxious or new clients settle in: “Our Dillinger was snoozing on his rocker instead of hiding in the back of the closet as he does when scary strangers come into the house.” We pride ourselves on forming real bonds, delivering belly rubs, playtime, and all the cuddles your companion craves.

Flexible Scheduling & Transparent Pricing

We know that life can be unpredictable, so we offer flexible scheduling, from single visits to multi-day care packages. Need to extend a reservation on short notice? No problem—although our most popular time slots do fill up fast, so we recommend early booking to secure your preferred dates. Transparency is key to our pricing: clients consistently tell us, “They are the most reasonably priced pet sitters in the greater Lancaster area.” With competitive rates and no hidden fees, you’ll find exceptional value in every service we provide.
