Lehigh Valley Grand Prix is an indoor go-kart track in Allentown, PA, with a quarter-mile road course, axe throwing and a sports bar in a 48,000 square foot building.

The track is a quarter-mile indoor road course with 11 turns, walled with over 1,300 Goodyear tires, and every lap is timed to the thousandth of a second. The site says the karts reach speeds nearing 45 mph. Races run 8 minutes; drivers 8 to 17 need a parent's consent and 48 inches of height, adults need 56 inches, and the pizza, brewery and axe throwing fill the rest of an evening.

Before you go

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory (no high heels), long hair goes inside the helmet, and every racer signs a waiver and sits through a safety briefing. Youth 8 to 17 need parental consent. Races can be booked online.
