About the event
The Eastern PA Homestead Festival brings homesteading and traditional skills to the Kutztown Fairgrounds. The gathering draws people interested in growing food, raising animals, preserving the harvest, and working with their hands, whether they keep a few raised beds in a borough backyard or manage acreage out past the ridge.
Kutztown Fairgrounds is a familiar setting for events of this kind, with room for demonstrations, vendors, and space to wander between them. Expect the kind of day where you can watch a skill practiced up close, ask questions of the person doing it, and leave with something you want to try at home.
Dates and full programming for the 2027 festival are still being confirmed. Anyone planning a trip should watch for the announced schedule before making arrangements.
