Community Days is a week-long summer festival put on by the Greater Governor Mifflin League, and it turns school grounds in the Governor Mifflin area into a gathering place for the whole district. Food and game stands fill the campus, each one sponsored or staffed by a local organization, and amusement rides come from Penn Valley Shows.

Nightly entertainment on the Penske Transportation Solutions Main Stage is free, as is parking and entry, so families can come for an hour or stay the evening. A fireworks display is part of the week, with viewing at Cumru Elementary. An auction and a 50/50 drawing run alongside the stands.

The money raised stays close to home. Proceeds are shared between the sponsoring groups and the League, which puts its share back into fire companies, ambulance associations, scout troops, school and community projects, and scholarships for local students.
