About the event
Henry Cho brings his It's What I Do tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center, with doors opening at 7:00 PM ahead of the 8:00 PM show. Cho is a Knoxville native whose easygoing storytelling draws on family life, Southern manners, and the small everyday moments most people in the room will recognize. His act is known for staying clean throughout, which makes it an easy pick for a night out with parents, grandparents, or older kids.
He was welcomed as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, an honor the Opry had not given a comedian in decades, and he continues to perform on that stage regularly. His television work includes The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, and a stint hosting NBC's Friday Night Videos, along with the Comedy Central hour What's That Clickin' Noise? He also created and co-wrote The Henry Cho Show, appeared in films including McHale's Navy, Say It Isn't So, and Material Girls, and can be heard on SiriusXM and Pandora.
Cho has shared stages with artists such as Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, and Reba, and he works just as comfortably in a Las Vegas showroom as on a touring bill. Downtown Reading's theater setting suits that range well, putting the crowd close to a performer who works best in conversation with the room.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
