About the event
John Cleese comes to the Santander Performing Arts Center for an evening built around Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The night pairs a screening of the comedy classic with Cleese live on stage afterward, talking through the making of the film and taking questions from the audience.
Cleese was one of the founding members of Monty Python, and he co-wrote and performed in the Holy Grail alongside the rest of the troupe. His career since has taken in Fawlty Towers, A Fish Called Wanda, and decades of stage and screen work, which gives him plenty of ground to cover once the credits roll.
Expect behind-the-scenes stories, a healthy dose of his trademark wit, and the chance to watch a film that still gets quoted daily with a room full of people who know every line. Longtime Python fans and newcomers curious about where all those coconut jokes came from will both find their footing here.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
