The Kutztown Fair returns to the Kutztown Fairgrounds from Monday, August 9 through Saturday, August 14, 2027, with gates opening at 4:00 PM on weekdays and 2:00 PM on Saturday, continuing one of Berks County's long running summer gatherings. The greeting at the gate is "Willkumm," a nod to the Pennsylvania German heritage that still shapes the food, the music, and the farm traditions on display. Parking is free.

Much of the fair is built around what neighbors bring in themselves. Exhibit halls fill with home grown vegetables, fruits, nuts and herbs, canned goods, baked foods, arts and crafts, and the quilts that regulars look forward to every summer. Livestock barns and animal shows run alongside them, with entry categories open to children as well as adults, so young exhibitors can compete for ribbons of their own.

Evenings bring music to the main stage and the beer garden, plus midway and grandstand shows, country line dancing, face painting for the kids, and carnival rides from Houghton Enterprises. Food stands offer a wide spread, and most of the entertainment is included with fair admission. Plan on a few hours if you want to see the animals, walk the exhibits, and still catch a set of live music.
