About the event
Bockbier Fest returns to the Reading Liederkranz in Pennside, where the German Singing and Sport Society marks the arrival of spring the traditional way. Bock is the strong, malty lager German brewers have long tied to the turn of the season, and the club builds an afternoon and evening around it with food, music, and the easy hospitality that regulars know well.
The Liederkranz exists to share German cultural heritage with Berks County, and events like this one are where that mission is most visible.
