Second Sunday: Studio Crawl
April 9, 2028 · 12:00 PM · GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading · Free admission; families and visitors of all ages welcome
About the event
GoggleWorks opens the doors of its second and third floor studios for an afternoon of self guided wandering. Visitors move at their own pace through hallways lined with artwork, stopping in at the working studios of the artists who make the building what it is. It is a chance to see how the work actually gets made, from the tools on the bench to the pieces still in progress.
Studio artists are encouraged to be on hand from noon to 4:00 PM, so there is a good chance you will meet the makers themselves and hear about their process firsthand. Conversations tend to start easily here, and plenty of people run into neighbors along the way.
Families are welcome, and no preparation is needed beyond showing up. Bring a friend, take your time, and see what is happening on the upper floors of Reading's arts center. More about the studio artists can be found on the GoggleWorks website.
Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on BerksConnect.
