About the event
Spend a Sunday afternoon wandering the second and third floors of GoggleWorks, where studio artists open their doors for a free, self-guided crawl. You set the pace, moving through hallways lined with artwork and looking in on the spaces where paintings, prints, ceramics, and other work take shape.
Artists are encouraged to be in their studios through the afternoon, so there is a good chance to talk with the people behind the work, ask about their process, and see what they are currently making. It is a relaxed way to get a closer look at a working arts center rather than a finished gallery wall.
Visitors and families are welcome. Bring someone along or come on your own and strike up a conversation, and browse the roster of studio artists ahead of time if you want to know whose spaces you will be passing.
