Doc and Bubba's turns its dining room into a holiday workshop for an afternoon built around Christmas stories. Families arrive at 4:00 PM for crafting alongside the restaurant's own Elf, with story time following at 5:00 PM and favorite seasonal tales read aloud.

It is a relaxed way to spend part of a December Tuesday in Mohnton. Kids can settle in with a craft project while the grown-ups order from the kitchen, and the reading gives everyone a reason to stay at the table a little longer.

The restaurant sits along New Holland Road and is known locally for casual upscale American food in a comfortable setting, which makes it an easy stop for parents, grandparents, and younger children looking for a holiday outing close to home.
