Pet Food Pantry for Dogs and Cats From Friend, Inc. Community Services
Friend, Inc. Community Services runs a Pet Pantry in Kutztown that gives out food for dogs and cats, one of the few pantries in the area dedicated to pets.
The Pet Pantry runs at the same time as the Northeastern Berks Food Pantry at 60 Bieber Alley, Kutztown, so you can pick up pet food when you come for your own groceries. It is also available at other times in special circumstances if you call 610-683-7791.
The Northeastern Berks Food Pantry is open five days each month. The first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the month are by appointment, though walk-ins are welcome, and you can call 610-683-9011 to schedule. The page lists the third Thursday of the month as 5:00 to 7:00 PM in one place and 6:00 to 7:00 pm in another, and the third Friday as 10:00 to 11:30 AM in one place and 10:30 to 11:30 am in another, so it is worth asking when you call. Those days are open to all and new patrons are welcomed.

Dogs and cats are family too! And they deserve to eat as well. Friend, Inc. operates one of the few pantries dedicated to our furry family members. The Pet Pantry currently runs in conjunction with our Northeastern Berks Food Pantry but is always available in those special circumstances with just a phone call (610-683-7791).
