Free Help Signing Up for Health Coverage From Pennie-Certified Assisters
Pennie, Pennsylvania's official health insurance marketplace, connects you with certified assisters who help you apply for health coverage for free. You can get support in person, by phone, or virtually at no cost to you.
Pennie-Certified Assisters are trained professionals who help you understand your health coverage options, help you complete your application, and connect you to available financial savings. Their support is free and unbiased. Assisters cannot advise on which plan is right for you, but they can help you understand your options.
Pennie also certifies brokers, who do those same things and in addition recommend specific plans based on your needs and receive commissions for enrollments. The Find A Broker button on the same page leads to that separate search.
To get help, go to pennie.com/find-local-help and use the scheduling tool to instantly schedule time with a Pennie-Certified Assister. The same place has links to the scheduling tool in Spanish and in Chinese, and there are links there for booking, canceling and rescheduling an appointment.
If there are no locations near your house, you can choose to have an appointment over the phone or a virtual call. You can also use the Find An Assister or Find A Broker buttons to search by location, language, name, or organization to find local help near you, which is also what to do if the scheduling tool is not working.
