Body Shop Structural & Collision Repair Technician

Piazza Acura of Reading seeks an experienced Body Shop Structural & Collision Repair Technician for its high-volume Body Shop. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, two weeks of PTO, and earning potential of $100k+ per year. A valid state driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check are required; I-CAR training and certification are preferred. Responsibilities include performing work such as structural repairs and welding as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, working with the shop estimator and insurance estimators to fully assess vehicle damage, diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing and documenting repairs, communicating with the department manager and estimator to obtain needed parts, examining vehicles to determine if supplemental repairs are required, road-testing vehicles when required, and notifying estimators and the manager immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
