Civil Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities include

• clear and prompt communication with staff and clients
• negotiating and achieving the best outcomes
• excellent research and writing
• maintaining a professional courtroom presence
• managing all phases of civil litigation from case intake through trial (investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal)
• and providing legal advice and support so clients understand their rights and the legal process.

Requirements:

• a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a valid Pennsylvania attorney's license
• proven experience in civil law with a track record of successful case management and courtroom advocacy
• strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• and a commitment to justice with compassionate understanding of clients' situations.

Candidates with limited experience will be considered, though the ideal applicant has five years of civil litigation experience.
