Duties include

• representing clients in court cases and managing all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings and discovery through pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal
• developing and implementing litigation strategies tailored to each case
• researching and analyzing legal issues, laws and regulations
• drafting and filing legal documents such as lawsuits, appeals and legal briefs
• negotiating settlements
• communicating clearly and promptly with staff and clients
• and maintaining organization in all areas of practice.

Requirements:

• a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a valid Pennsylvania attorney's license
• proven experience in criminal law with a track record of successful case management and courtroom advocacy
• strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• and a commitment to justice with compassionate understanding of clients' situations.

Candidates with limited experience will be considered, though the ideal applicant has five years of criminal defense experience.
