Outpatient Psychiatrist

Experienced, compassionate child/adolescent/adult psychiatrist to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions through personalized care that may include psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medication management and hospitalization when necessary.

The psychiatrist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patients' mental and emotional health, develop individualized treatment plans and ensure medical stability.

Duties

• providing clinical services to patients at the facility
• practicing within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations and corporate/facility policy and procedures
• reviewing medical information to ensure medical stability and offer medical recommendations
• evaluating patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders
• treating or directing treatment using a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications
• reviewing and completing medical information for individual care plans and documenting services in a timely manner
• and maintaining confidential documentation, compliance and billing per policy and procedures.

Requirements

• doctoral degree in medicine (MD or DO) in psychiatry
• one or more years' post-graduate practice preferred
• licensed in PA
• active DEA number in PA
• board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• interest in a full-time or part-time contract position
• malpractice insurance.

Job Type

• full-time.

Pay

• $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year.
