Tasting Room Employee

Setter Ridge Vineyards, a winery operating since 2003 and located just outside Kutztown since 2010, is currently looking for weekend help in its tasting room.

The main task of this staff member is to work in the tasting room — helping customers, maintaining inventory and overall cleanliness.

Tasks include

• providing and taking responsibility for a consistent and pleasant customer experience;
• maintaining a working knowledge of the tasting room menu, products and procedures;
• assisting with events on and off site, including managing group tastings and private events;
• conducting off-site pourings, tastings and events as needed;
• and other duties as deemed necessary by ownership.

The winery seeks a responsible, self-motivated individual who can work a flexible schedule and is available for a minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Requirements:

• ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day;
• ability to lift 40 pounds;
• professional appearance and demeanor;
• excellent communication and customer service skills;
• reliable transportation;
• and must be at least 21 years of age.

Wine-related experience with knowledge of wine and wine production is preferred.

Pay includes hourly compensation plus tips.
