Berks Encore hosts shuffleboard on Tuesday afternoons at the Mifflin Wellness & Activity Center in Shillington. Both floor shuffleboard and the tabletop version are part of the group, so players can slide the discs on the long court or gather around the table.
This is a drop-in social activity for older adults who want a relaxed game with others at the center. No experience is needed, and regulars can help newcomers learn how scoring works. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move around in easily.
The center is open weekdays, and staff can answer questions about joining the group or about other classes and activities on the monthly schedule. Call or stop by the Mifflin center to let them know you plan to come.
