Adult Archery and Atlatl Skills Lab at French Creek
Starts Sat, Nov 7, 12:00 PM · Free
About the class
Boone Area Library invites adults to an outdoor skills lab at French Creek State Park, where you can try two throwing and shooting sports in one afternoon: archery and atlatl, a spear throwing tool.
You will learn how to handle the equipment safely, work on proper technique, and practice on targets with both a bow and an atlatl. No experience is needed. Come ready to learn, try something new, and spend time outdoors. This session is for adults only.
The group meets at the French Creek State Park main office on Park Road in Elverson. Dress for being outside and for the weather. Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up ahead through the library's event page.
