About the program
Teens gather at Brandywine Community Library to play Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. Game Master Morgan teaches players how the game works, so no experience is needed. Teamwork, though, is a must.
D&D is a cooperative storytelling game. The Game Master and the players role-play characters in a shared story, using improvisation, problem solving, critical thinking, creative writing, social literacy and collaboration along the way. New players make their characters at the start of each meeting and begin at level 1, and pre-filled character sheets are available if you would rather jump straight in.
The club is open to ages 13 to 17 and meets at the library on Tower Drive in Topton. Space is limited, so signing up ahead is appreciated but not required. Adults interested in an 18 and over group can let the library know by email.
