About the class
Clay at Night is an evening studio class for adults at Clay on Main in Oley. Sessions run Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, with Pirjo L'seperance leading the Tuesday group and Anna Bechtel leading the Wednesday group.
The pace is relaxed and the setting is a working studio. Instruction covers handbuilding, sculpture and basic wheel throwing, and you also learn about clay bodies, glazes and other materials. Experimenting with your own ideas is encouraged, and all levels of experience are welcome, whether you have never touched a wheel or have worked in clay before.
