About the class
Tap 1 is a tap dance class for children at Culture Shock Performing Arts Center. Dancers meet once a week to work on basic tap steps, rhythm and timing, and moving together as a group. The class is open to all, and it runs across the school year, so students build on the same material week after week.
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings for about forty five minutes. Dancers should come ready to move, with tap shoes and hair pulled back out of the face.
