Bowl Turning: Session B
Starts Thu, Oct 15, 6:00 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This single evening workshop at GoggleWorks introduces the basics of turning bowls on a wood lathe. You start with raw wood and work toward a finished bowl, learning how to hold and use turning tools and how to work safely at the lathe. It is open to all skill levels, so no previous woodturning experience is needed.
The class meets in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading, and is taught by Mike Kuterbach. It is open to teens 16 and up as well as adults. Closed-toe shoes are required. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, arranged through the GoggleWorks programs office.
Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and the page lists supply details along with cancellation and refund policies. GoggleWorks also offers scholarships, with information on its website.
