This class looks at what goes into making comics, from newspaper strips like Peanuts and Garfield to action stories from Marvel and DC. Students work through conception, character design, and laying out a story that keeps a reader engaged. It is open to all skill levels and is a good fit for beginners who want to bring their own stories to life.
Christopher Singleton teaches. The group meets on Monday evenings in the Drawing and Painting Classroom, room 318 on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Please bring a USB drive to class.
This is an adult course. Registration is handled on the GoggleWorks class page, and the center also offers scholarships.
