Glassblown Pumpkin: Session D
Starts Sat, Oct 24, 2:00 PM · Member: $83.30 / Non-Member: $98.00

About the workshop
This single session workshop at GoggleWorks introduces you to working with hot glass. You gather molten glass from the furnace, add color, and shape it into a pumpkin, with studio artists guiding each step. You leave with a glass pumpkin of your own making, suited to the fall season.
The workshop is for adults and welcomes all skill levels, so no glass experience is needed. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hair tie, since both are required in the studio. The class meets in the Glassblowing Studio in Building 5 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. If you are not sure where to go, the front desk can point you to the right building.
The session runs Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM. Register through the GoggleWorks class page linked with this listing. Registration closes several business days before the start date, so sign up early. GoggleWorks also offers scholarships and can arrange private glassblowing workshops for groups, with details on their site.
