About the workshop
This one session workshop at GoggleWorks covers lapidary work from start to finish. You shape, grind and polish stone using lapidary equipment, then set or assemble your stones into a pair of wearable earrings. The class does not include metalwork, so pre-made bezels are used.
It is open to all skill levels and no prior lapidary experience is needed. The class meets in the Metalsmithing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required. Instruction is available in both English and Spanish.
The session runs on a Friday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM. Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and written permission is required for students under 18 enrolled in adult courses.
