October Fused Glass Maker Date
Starts Fri, Oct 30, 6:00 PM · $96.00

About the workshop
This one evening fused glass workshop at GoggleWorks is set up as a date night. An instructor walks you through choosing a mold and picking your colors, then you build a glass plate, platter, or bowl from cut glass. The session includes a shared charcuterie spread from Thorn Alley Kitchen and your choice of draft beverage. All skill levels are welcome, and the class is for adults.
The workshop meets in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading, on a Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM. Closed toe shoes are required. Registration covers one person, so each person attending needs their own spot. Finished glass is fired in the studio after class, so plan to pick up your piece later.
At checkout you may see optional add ons, including a multi course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before the workshop and a supervised drop off for children with dinner and a craft. Registration for classes closes five business days before the start date. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page, and ask GoggleWorks about scholarships if cost is a barrier.
