One-Day on the Wheel Workshop: Session A

About the workshop
This one evening workshop at GoggleWorks puts you at the pottery wheel. You start with a ball of clay, learn the basics of throwing, and shape your own piece. When you finish, you pick a glaze from the ceramics studio's selection. All skill levels are welcome, so no prior experience is needed. The instructor is Justin George.
The session runs Friday, September 18, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Ceramics Studio, Building 3, at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Firing and finishing take a few weeks, and the Programs team will email you when your piece is ready to pick up.
The workshop is open to ages 14 and up. Students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission, which you can arrange with the GoggleWorks Programs staff. Registration closes five business days before the class date, and a waitlist is available if the session fills. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page.
