About the workshop
This is a one evening fused glass workshop at GoggleWorks in Reading, set up as a date night for adults. An instructor walks you through choosing a mold and picking your colors, then you arrange glass to make your own plate, platter or bowl. All skill levels are welcome, so no previous glass experience is needed.
While you work, a shared charcuterie spread from the kitchen is included, along with your choice of a draft beverage. The class meets in the Fusing Studio in Building 6. Closed-toe shoes are required. Registration covers one person, so each person attending needs their own spot.
When you sign up, you can also add a multi-course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before the workshop, or a supervised drop off session with dinner and a craft for your child, which must be reserved ahead of time. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, and GoggleWorks offers scholarships. Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks site.
