Learn the basics of stick welding, a widely used way of joining metal, in a hands-on class taught by David Jeremiah. You practice striking an arc and work toward clean, structurally sound welds in the heavy metals studio.
The skills carry over to practical work such as repairs and fabrication, as well as making metal art. The class is open to all skill levels and is intended for adults. It meets Thursday evenings over two sessions in the Welding Studio, Building 4, on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading.
