About the workshop
Painting with a Twist runs this guided painting workshop where you create a warm rustic snowman scene step by step with an artist leading the way. Surface choices include a canvas, a wood plank board, or a taller porch leaner, and add-ons such as glitter or a do-it-yourself scented soy wax candle can be added to your seat when you book.
Sessions run Sunday evenings from 5 PM to 7 PM. Plan to arrive about ten to fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled, since late arrivals may not be able to paint. The studio uses non-toxic acrylic paint that can stain fabric, so wear clothes you do not mind marking up even though aprons are provided. Snacks and drinks are welcome and the studio is BYOB, with cups provided and anyone drinking alcohol required to be 21 or over. Bring your own ice.
The artwork is recommended for ages 6 and up, and adults who only plan to help or watch do not need a seat but should let the studio know they are coming. Payment secures your spot, so reserve online through the event page. If you are coming with friends who are booking separately, note your group name in the special request box so you can be seated together.
