Trixie is a therapy dog who comes to Mifflin Community Library so people can read aloud to her. Readers settle in with a book and read to a calm, patient listener, which can be an easy way to build confidence with reading out loud.
The visits run as a series in the evening at the library, 6 Philadelphia Avenue in Shillington. They are family friendly and open to readers of all ages, from children through adults and seniors, and there is no charge to take part.
