The Reading Public Museum sets aside sensory-inclusive hours for guests who need a quieter setting to look around. During these hours, visitors and their caretakers can move through the galleries at their own pace in a calmer atmosphere.

The program welcomes guests of all ages and abilities. Registration is suggested, and people who sign up ahead of time receive a pre-visit packet with information to share with the person they are supporting, so everyone knows what to expect before arriving.

To register, email the Museum's education department using the contact details on the event page. Private sensory hours can also be arranged through the education department for groups who need a separate time. The Museum is at 500 Museum Road in Reading. See the schedule panel for upcoming times.
