Sinking Spring Public Library hosts a Penn State Master Gardener presentation on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 in the morning. A Master Gardener leads each talk, and the topic changes from month to month.
Topics across the series include seed starting, tomatoes and vegetables, herbs, invasive species, butterflies and moths, lavender, native bees, composting, bulbs, and preparing your garden for winter. A few of the talks begin earlier in the morning, so check the start time for the one you want to attend. The presentations are geared to adults who garden or want to learn more about plants and pollinators.
Talks take place at the library at 3940 Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring. While you are there, you can also browse the library's seed library. Call the library for details on the next topic and start time.
