Snack-tember Tasting Tuesday
Starts Tue, Sep 22, 11:00 AM · Free

About the program
Each Tuesday during Snack-tember, Sinking Spring Public Library sets out a new and interesting snack for visitors to sample. Just stop by the circulation desk and ask to try that week's snack. Samples are offered while supplies last, so it helps to come early.
The tastings start with crispy shiitake mushrooms. Other weeks bring bison jerky, goat cheese and chili spread, roasted seaweed, and plantain chips. An activity is also set up in the children's area for younger visitors.
Snack-tember is a month-long health awareness event created by the British Nutrition Foundation, and it teaches children and young people how to choose and make healthy, sustainable snacks. Kids, teens and adults are all welcome. No sign-up is mentioned; come to the library at 3940 Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring and ask at the desk.
