About the class
Kids make personalized ornaments and keepsakes for the people they love in this gift making workshop at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education. Students work with a variety of materials and their own imaginations, so the handmade treasures that come out of the room are often a surprise.
The workshop is built around a simple idea: the most meaningful gifts are frequently the ones made by hand. Children take their finished ornaments and keepsakes home to give away. It is designed for ages 6 to 10, and no experience is needed.
Classes meet Saturday mornings. Registration is handled through the Yocum Institute, and payment is due when you sign up. Check the schedule panel for the current dates and times.
