This karaoke social brings together teens and adults with special needs and their families for an hour of singing and socializing. Participants pick songs they want to sing from a variety of choices, and everyone is welcome to cheer each other on.
Singers can perform along with a karaoke track, or sing with live accompaniment when the facilitator knows the song. Amanda Cardinal leads the group. It is open to ages 13 and up, and family members are part of the fun.
The social meets on Friday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30. Come ready to sing, or just come to listen and spend time with others. Sign up through Yocum Institute for Arts Education.
