That stand is the retail fish market side of the operation, selling fish rather than prepared sushi.

Its own site lists the restaurant Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 9pm, Friday from 4:30pm to 10pm, and Saturday from 11:30am to 10pm, and the banner notes lunch service on Saturdays.

B2 Bistro + Bar. Great White Sushi in West Reading.

B2 Bistro + Bar at 701 Reading Ave in West Reading runs a full sushi menu inside a gastropub, which is not where most people think to look for one. On its own site sushi is one of five menu tabs, alongside All Day Dining, B2 Cafe, Cocktails & Wine, and Happy Hour, and the menu it opens is branded Great White Sushi.

The menu is built out the way a sushi bar's is, with sections for Appetizers, Poke Bowls, Traditional Rolls, Vegetarian, Specialty Rolls, Sashimi, and a Combo Platter. The appetizers run to Spicy Tuna Guacamole, Spicy Tuna Nachos, Avocado Boats and Seared Pepper Tuna, and the poke bowls come in tuna, yellowtail, salmon and a spiced-up shrimp.

One practical note before you park: the B2 Cafe at the same address keeps its own hours, Monday through Friday from 7am to 2pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 3pm, so the sushi is on the restaurant side. Haiku sits on North 5th Street Highway, a short drive from Kanpai on the same road, and it is the kitchen that will build a roll to your specifications. It also has a drive-thru window, which is a rare thing to be able to say about sushi.

The requests people make here are specific and they get met. One reviewer who orders sushi rolls with no rice wrote that Haiku was the exception. Another confirmed the kitchen is "open to substitutions/requests on rolls or singular sushi," and a third reported that "Haiku has no problems pulling off a no rice hand roll."
