Warm Hospitality & Personalized Service

From the moment you arrive, innkeeper Kimberly and her family envelop you in genuine care and attention. Guests rave that “Kimberly is a warm, caring and welcoming person,” and many return year after year to experience her signature blend of kindness and professionalism. Every interaction—from check-in to farewell—feels like visiting a friend’s home, where your comfort is the top priority. One visitor remarked, “Host was so kind, so generous, and attentive,” capturing the essence of an experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong advocates.

Luxurious Rooms & Spa-Like Amenities

Each of our five uniquely decorated guest rooms reflects Kimberly’s eye for comfort and detail. Spacious enough for extended stays yet cozy enough for romantic getaways, these sanctuaries feature:

• Plush king-size beds with premium linens
• Elegant fireplaces for chilly evenings
• Jacuzzi tubs or steam showers for a spa-style unwind

In the Jade Room, couples can enjoy a private fireplace and a falling-asleep-to-the-crackle vibe, while the Amethyst Suite dazzles with vaulted ceilings and a luxurious soaking tub. As one guest noted, “We stayed overnight in the Jade room which was spacious and lovingly decorated. Cozy atmosphere, comfortable bed…” and another added, “Especially loved the steam shower after a cold day.”

Gourmet Breakfast & Culinary Delights

Each morning at 9:00 AM, the scent of scratch-made breakfast wafts through the halls—a ritual that guests eagerly anticipate. Kimberly’s inventive menu showcases locally sourced ingredients and dietary accommodations, ensuring every palate is delighted. Highlights include:

• Dutch Baby Pancakes with seasonal fruit compote
• Fluffy Egg Soufflés seasoned to perfection
• Homemade muffins, fresh fruit, and local breakfast meats

“Breakfast was 5 star both days, INCREDIBLE!” declared one enthused traveler, while another gushed, “My gluten-free meals were some of the best I’ve had.” From the first sip of freshly brewed coffee to the last bite of Baked Pears, each dish reflects the inn’s commitment to quality and creativity.

Thoughtful Touches & Special Experiences

At the Amethyst Inn, it’s the little things that elevate a stay from pleasant to extraordinary. Look for:

• Welcome gifts—a handwritten card and a bottle of local wine
• Charcuterie board service paired with Kimberly’s homemade bread
• Romantic add-on packages featuring champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and fresh flowers
• In-room massages by Miranda, our licensed therapist, delivered by the fireplace

Guests are delighted by “little surprises everywhere like chocolates on the dresser, snacks and waters for long days of antiquing,” and couples cherish the tailored romance of roses, bubbly, and personal flourishes that make anniversaries, birthdays, or surprise getaways truly special.
