Blue Mountain Dog Camp

Nestled amid the rolling hills of Bethel, PA, Blue Mountain Dog Camp is your trusted neighborhood kennel and transportation service. From the moment you book a stay for your canine companion, you’ll discover a seamless blend of spacious, country-style lodging with professional care and friendly attention. Whether you need overnight boarding, day care, or our signature pup-truck pickup and drop-off, Blue Mountain Dog Camp goes the extra mile—quite literally—to make every dog’s stay safe, social, and stress-free.

Premier Facilities & Outdoor Space

At the heart of Blue Mountain Dog Camp is an expansive network of secure, varied outdoor areas designed for fun and freedom. Converted horse barn suites adjoin large, enclosed runs where dogs can romp, chase, and stretch their legs—by customer report, “Theo had fenced acres to run and play in wooded area,” showcasing our commitment to off-leash adventures. Shaded trails wind through wooded acreage, while open-play yards offer plenty of room for pups to sprint or simply bask in the fresh air. Thoughtful design ensures each guest can find both lively social time and quiet spots to rest comfortably.

Warm, Professional Team

From your very first hello, you’ll feel at ease with John and Ruth, the husband-and-wife team behind Blue Mountain Dog Camp. With decades of combined experience and genuine dog-lover instincts, they greet every family with calm competence. As one reviewer shared, “I immediately was greeted with a warm welcome from John and Ruth and instantly felt at ease.” Their demeanor isn’t just pleasant—it’s the foundation of a trusting environment where pets flourish and owners relax.

Convenient Pup-Truck Pickup & Drop-Off

Say goodbye to last-minute scheduling headaches. Our door-to-door transportation service is a hallmark of convenience: dogs hop into the custom “pup truck” without hesitation, ready for a day (or longer) of excitement. One satisfied customer raved, “My dogs jump right in the pup truck without hesitation,” while another noted, “Our dog is always happy to see John and jumps into the van.” Whether you’re in Bethel or commuting from nearby towns, the pup truck transforms travel time into tail-wagging anticipation.

Pristine Cleanliness & Comfortable Lodging

Clean, well-maintained surroundings are non-negotiable at Blue Mountain Dog Camp. Every kennel, suite, and play area is routinely sanitized, and raised beds ensure a cozy night’s sleep off the cold floor. Guests enjoy fresh, soft bedding in spacious stalls—once horse stalls, now repurposed into homey suites—and owners consistently praise the “pristine grounds and kennels.” The result is a spotless retreat where health, hygiene, and your dog’s ultimate comfort are top priorities.

Transparent Pricing & Exceptional Value

Quality care shouldn’t break the bank. At Blue Mountain Dog Camp, rates reflect a fair market price for top-tier services, from comfortable boarding accommodations to hassle-free transportation. Customers find our pricing “very reasonable” and “competitive,” especially given the personalized attention and premium amenities included. We believe in clear, straightforward fees so you can budget with confidence—and pamper your pup without compromise.

Real-Time Communication & Photo Updates

We know that being away from your dog can be stressful. That’s why our team provides regular photo updates to keep you connected. Whether it’s a mid-day play session or a sweet nap in the sun, seeing your pup having fun helps you relax. As one pet parent said, “John even sent happy photos of my boy while I was away for five days,” while another appreciated, “I like getting photos of my pups to release some stress when I’m away. Nice touch, John & Ruth.” Personalized updates are part of our commitment to open, reassuring communication.

Safety & Breed Policy

Your dog’s safety—and the safety of every guest—is our top priority. To maintain a harmonious, risk-free environment, Blue Mountain Dog Camp reserves the right to apply breed-specific or age-based policies. While this approach ensures peaceful integration in group play and tailored care, we understand it may not suit every situation. Our team is always available to discuss your dog’s unique needs and find the best boarding solution for you.
