Our Reputation for Quality

At Calvaresi Kennel, quality isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of everything we do. With every litter, our goal is to uphold the time-honored traits that make the Vizsla such a prized hunting dog and devoted family member. As one satisfied owner raves, “I have two Vizslas. One from Calvaresi. She is a wonderful hunter and companion.” This kind of heartfelt endorsement reflects our commitment to breeding dogs with top-notch working ability and gentle, people-oriented characters.

“Highly recommend this Breeder.”

Above all, our clients trust us to deliver dogs that exceed expectations. From carefully planned matings to thorough early socialization, we maintain the highest standards at every stage of development, ensuring that each puppy leaves our kennel healthy, happy, and ready to thrive.

Hunting Partners and Family Companions

What truly sets Calvaresi Kennel apart is our emphasis on the dual nature of the Vizsla: an athlete in the field and a sweetheart on the sofa. Our dogs are bred for:

• Superior Hunting Instincts: Strong pointing, steady backs, and a tireless drive in the field.
• Adaptable Temperaments: Confident and obedient with proper training, yet gentle and patient around children.
• Loyal Companionship: Eager to please and quick to form lifelong bonds with their families.

Our breeding program focuses on dogs that deliver in the marsh, upland, or retriever shoots—and then happily settle in by your side at home. “She is a wonderful hunter and companion,” says one happy owner, summing up the balanced qualities you can expect from a Calvaresi-bred Vizsla.

A Holistic Approach to Canine Health

From the moment a litter arrives, we prioritize health screenings, first-rate nutrition, and early socialization. Puppies are raised in a family environment, gaining exposure to everyday sights and sounds long before they go to their forever homes. Our comprehensive health protocols include:

• OFA certifications for hips, elbows, and heart.
• Regular veterinary checkups and vaccinations.
• Tailored puppy wellness packets and owner education materials.

We believe that setting a strong foundation for physical and mental well-being produces dogs who live longer, healthier lives—and that peace of mind is priceless for new owners.
