Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard

Nestled amid the rolling hills of Quarryville, PA, Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard offers an authentic barn-style winery and event venue where rustic elegance meets warm hospitality. Framed by weathered timber beams and sweeping countryside vistas, our property provides the perfect backdrop for intimate wine tastings, lively live music evenings, corporate gatherings, and once-in-a-lifetime weddings.

A Vineyard Experience Like No Other

Step into our lush vineyard and feel the stresses of everyday life melt away. Guests sink into Adirondack chairs scattered across the lawn, glass in hand, basking in golden afternoon light as they admire rows of flourishing vines. With every sip, visitors note the “beautiful venue/atmosphere,” often echoing the shout-out: “Gorgeous views and great wine!” Whether you’re a novice taster or a seasoned connoisseur, our setting is designed to delight all five senses.

Exceptional Wines and Unique Offerings

At Britain Hill, quality starts in the vineyard and continues through every bottle. We proudly craft a varied portfolio—bold reds, crisp whites, luscious rosés, and everything in between—so both sweet-wine aficionados and dry-wine devotees find something to love. A fan favorite? Our signature wine slushies. Blended to icy perfection, these frozen concoctions bring a playful twist to traditional tasting and have patrons raving, “The wine slushies are great!”

Unforgettable Events and Weddings

As both a premier wedding venue and versatile event space, Britain Hill transforms celebrations into cherished memories. Co-owners Debbie and Ken are renowned for their hands-on approach: guiding you through every logistical detail, coordinating vendors, and ensuring seamless day-of execution. Couples praise Debbie for being “always available to us” and for going “out of her way to make sure we were comfortable.” Under our lofty barn roof, laughter rings out during ceremonies, speeches move hearts, and the dance floor stays lively long after sunset.

Gourmet Bites and Beverage Diversity

Complement your tasting experience with delicious fare from rotating on-site food trucks. From smoky barbecue and gourmet tacos to artisanal ice cream, our lineup of local vendors keeps menus fresh and exciting. While we focus on handcrafted wines (and our famous slushies), you won’t find hard liquor here—just thoughtfully paired mixers, cider options, and local brews that spotlight Lancaster County’s best.

Live Music in a Picturesque Setting

As a dedicated live music venue, Britain Hill hosts talented artists nearly every weekend. Whether you’re toe-tapping to bluegrass, swaying to acoustic singer-songwriters, or dancing to upbeat covers, our outdoor stage amplifies every note against a countryside canvas. Pull up a seat on the deck, join friends on the lawn, or grab a picnic table—music at Britain Hill is always an immersive, communal experience.

Family-Friendly Fun (with Options for Adults)

Families are warmly welcomed at Britain Hill. Kids can safely roam the grounds, play yard games, and sample grape juice while parents unwind with a tasting flight. For those seeking an 18+ atmosphere, we also host select “kid-free” evenings—perfect for date nights, cocktail mixers, or group outings where grown-ups can fully relax. Check our calendar for family days versus adults-only events.
