Landis Logistics

Landis Logistics, nestled in the heart of Reading, PA, is your dependable partner for streamlined logistics service and shipping service solutions. Whether you’re a regional carrier seeking rapid turnaround times or a national fleet navigating complex schedules, Landis Logistics has built its reputation on efficiency, professionalism, and a commitment to getting every shipment moving.

Comprehensive Logistics and Shipping Services

At Landis Logistics, we understand that every delivery counts. Our suite of logistics and shipping services includes dock-side loading and unloading, real-time door assignment, and customized appointment scheduling. By coordinating precise delivery windows and dedicating our resources around your arrival, we help you minimize wait times and maximize productivity.

Fast and Efficient Unloading

One of the hallmarks of Landis Logistics is our lightning-quick unloading process. Numerous drivers attest to our ability to start unloading within minutes of arrival—“Unload is FAST,” and “Started to load me 5 minutes after arrival…loaded in 10 minutes :)” are common refrains. This rapid turnaround ensures that even the tightest delivery schedules can be met without sacrificing safety or accuracy.

Customer-Focused Operations

Landis Logistics operates with a structured appointment system designed to keep docks moving and drivers on schedule. While some customers note that strict appointment windows (for example, Building 2’s 11 am–2 pm staffing hours) require precise planning, these measures exist to guarantee that dedicated teams are on hand when you roll in. By avoiding bottlenecks and ensuring personnel readiness, our appointment-driven model empowers carriers to plan their routes with confidence.

Facilities & Accessibility

Our Reading facility is optimized for quick door assignments and efficient gate procedures, but drivers should be aware that space at the dock is intentionally compact. Seasoned operators frequently report that “tight parking spaces [are] not impossible” and that familiarity helps make backing in smooth. For newcomers, our on-site team is always available to guide you safely into position.
Located on a one-way street with limited off-street parking, our site accommodates standard tractor-trailers as well as box trucks. Street parking for two trucks is available on the left side before the warehouse. While we’re not a 24-hour or overnight staging location, our focus on daytime operations helps us maintain top-tier staffing levels and streamlined processes.

Experienced and Professional Team

From the moment you check in, you’ll notice the difference our people make. The shipping-window staff, in particular, has earned praise for their courtesy and competence—“Ladies by shipping window nice as well :) very professional !!” echoes across multiple reviews. Our front-line team is trained to handle paperwork, answer questions, and expedite your visit. Should you need driver-only amenities, simply request access to our on-site restroom facilities—available upon request to ensure cleanliness and security.

Balancing Strengths and Continuous Improvement

Landis Logistics prides itself on listening to every piece of feedback. Drivers appreciate our swift door assignments—“Got door right away…loaded in 10 minutes :)”—and our overall friendly atmosphere—“Awesome people,” “Nice people.” At the same time, we recognize concerns about appointment constraints, restroom access, and occasional front-desk experiences. By taking this feedback to heart, we continually refine our protocols, expand driver amenities, and strengthen our customer-service training.
