A Bright, Spacious Shopping Experience

Say goodbye to cramped aisles and dim corners. PetSmart Harrisburg was designed with both pets and people in mind:

• Open Layout: Customers regularly comment on our “huge open spaces” that make navigating with a dog stroller or cat carrier a breeze.
• Clean & Well-Lit: A spotless environment and thoughtful lighting ensure you can quickly find what you need—whether it’s aquarium accessories or small-animal bedding.
• Organized Shelving: With clearly marked sections for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more, you’ll enjoy a seamless shopping journey from start to finish.

Comprehensive Product Selection

At PetSmart, we pride ourselves on a broad assortment of pet essentials:

• Nutrition & Treats: From grain-free dog food to gourmet cat treats, our shelves are stocked with brands both you and your veterinarian trust. “Great selection of cat food for my feline friends,” shares a devoted customer.
• Live Animals & Aquatics: Explore fish tanks teeming with colorful species and discover small mammals waiting for their forever homes. While some customers have noted opportunities to expand our live-animal offerings, we continuously refresh our inventory to bring you the latest arrivals.
• Toys, Apparel & Accessories: Keep tails wagging with interactive toys, cozy beds, stylish bandanas, and more. As one shopper puts it: “Gucci is happy with his new bandana!”

Professional Grooming & Training Services

Transform your pet’s grooming appointment into a relaxing spa day—except when it doesn’t go quite as planned. We’re proud of the exceptional care many have experienced, yet we also listen when things fall short.

• Nail Care by Josh: Meet Josh, whose gentle, patient approach has earned him rave reviews—“My dog hates getting his nails clipped but has grown very comfortable with Josh.”
• Grooming Standards: While a few clients report less-than-perfect haircuts, our salon team is committed to refining their craft and ensuring every pup leaves looking and feeling their best.
• Training Workshops: From basic obedience to advanced tricks, our certified trainers strive to empower pet parents. We’ve heard feedback about inflexible approaches, and we’re actively refining our curriculum to be as supportive and adaptive as possible.

Community Programs & Special Events

PetSmart Harrisburg isn’t just a store; it’s a community hub. We celebrate every tail wag and whisker with initiatives that give back:

• Grand Opening Goodie Bag: On opening day, delighted customers received free bags packed with treats, samples, and surprises—“They give away a bag with pet care and other stuff inside,” one fan recalled.
• Puppy Christmas Donation Program: Each holiday season, we invite you to purchase a $5 stuffed animal to donate. “You can donate money or spend only $5… so they can also have a present for Christmas,” says a grateful community member.

Convenience & Customer Service

We know your time is precious, and you should never have to wait to care for your best friend:

• Store Hours: Although our doors close at 8 PM—earlier than some neighboring shops—our team is dedicated to making each visit count. We recommend checking our online schedule before you arrive to avoid any disappointment.
• Checkout Experiences: Most customers encounter attentive, compassionate cashiers who go the extra mile—especially when little ones tag along. “The cashier was very sweet and attentive with [my autistic son],” shares one parent. We’re also mindful of feedback about abrupt transactions and are reinforcing training to deliver consistent, courteous service at every register.
