When: Hours of Use: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM DST. Pool 2026 season: Saturday, May 23 through Monday, September 7, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (closes at 7:00 p.m. beginning in August; closed when schools are in full-time session).
Schedule: Concerts in the Park 2026: Friday, June 12 (The Uptown Band) and Friday, August 28 (Echo North), hot food from 5:00 p.m., music at 6:30 p.m., bring your own chairs; rain moves them to Governor Mifflin High School or a later date. Summer playground program: June 1 through July 31, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, for ages 6 to 13.
Admission: Park is free. Pool daily admission: $10 residents, $15 non-residents. 2026 in-season season tickets: residents family $195, individual $135, seniors 65+ free; non-residents family $285, individual $195, seniors $70. Season tickets sold only at Town Hall, never at the pool.
Parking: Enter via Butch Bare Lane. Designated spaces sit across from Pavilion No. 1, along the one-way road below Pavilion No. 2, and in the lot beside Pavilion No. 3 at the top of the hill; the swimming pool lot serves Pavilion No. 4 and overflow. Parking on the grass is prohibited except in posted overflow areas. Do not park at the Municipal Building.
Dogs: Dogs must be controlled by a leash and may not run at large. Animals are not allowed in seeded areas. Owners must immediately clean up and remove any waste.
Know before you go: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere in the park. Fires only in the picnic stoves or fireplaces provided. No skateboards or rollerblades, no golf, no ice skating on the pond, swimming only in the fenced pool. Music or entertainment needs a permit from the Recreation Director. Pavilion rentals are for Governor Mifflin School District residents, in person at Town Hall (2 East Lancaster Avenue, 610-777-1338) with photo ID, renter 21 or older, permits required May 1 through September 30: Pavilions 1, 2 and 4 are $55 resident / $85 non-resident (about 50 to 70 people); Pavilion 3 on the hill has restrooms and costs $65 / $125; the pool pavilion cannot be rented. Pool rules: children under 10 must be with someone 15 or older; no glass; no smoking.

Shillington Park, called Shillington Memorial Park in the borough's rules, is the Borough of Shillington's main park off East Broad Street beside the municipal building. It holds the Shillington Pool, a ballfield, the playground and a tot lot, a pond, four rentable picnic pavilions and a pool pavilion, all reached from the Butch Bare Lane entrance.

We use the pool in summer, bring kids to the playground and tot lot, and picnic at the pavilions on the hill and along the one-way park road. The borough runs a summer playground program for ages 6 to 13 on weekday mornings in June and July, when the playground area is closed to the public, and stages two Friday concerts in the park each summer with food sales before the music.

Park hours run 8 AM to 6 PM on standard time and 8 AM to 9 PM during daylight saving time. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the park, and dogs must be on a leash.
