Slootsky Artistic Dentistry

At Slootsky Artistic Dentistry, we believe that a visit to the dentist should be as comforting and reassuring as a chat with a close friend. Nestled in the heart of Reading, PA, our full-service dental clinic offers everything from routine cleanings with our gentle dental hygienist to advanced cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, dentures, and emergency dental service. Under the expert care of Dr. Jodi Slootsky, we fuse technical expertise with genuine compassion to create a dental experience that’s uniquely personal and worry-free.

Compassionate Care & Anxiety Management

Walking into a dentist’s office can trigger nerves for many—but at Slootsky Artistic Dentistry, anxiety meets its match. Dr. Jodi listens carefully to every concern: “She listened to my fears and took them into consideration,” one patient shared. From the moment you arrive, her empathetic bedside manner puts you at ease. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning or a specialized cosmetic procedure, you’ll feel supported and understood every step of the way.

Pain Management & Gentle Treatment

We’ve transformed the reputation of pain in dentistry. Our philosophy is simple: treat teeth with precision, and treat patients with kindness. Patients repeatedly report “I didn’t feel any pain!!!!” and “I literally only hurt a tiny bit and when I started to feel it she said let’s stop and give you some more shots for pain.” That’s because Dr. Jodi employs advanced anesthesia techniques and a gentle hand to ensure your comfort. Even the most intricate dental implants or denture fittings are delivered with minimal discomfort and maximum care.

Technical Expertise & Quality of Work

At Slootsky Artistic Dentistry, artistry meets science. As a cosmetic dentist and dental implants provider, Dr. Jodi combines a keen eye for detail with state-of-the-art technology. Whether you’re having a tooth filling, a full smile makeover, or teeth whitening service, the results are smooth, precise, and designed to last. One satisfied patient raved, “The tooth filling was done wonderfully, no sharp edges, very smooth.” Another noted her diagnostic skill: “She right away figured it out and boom I was out of pain.” It’s this level of technical proficiency that sets our practice apart.

Responsiveness & Availability

Dental emergencies don’t wait for business hours—and neither do we. Our emergency dental service and weekend appointments showcase our unwavering commitment to patient well-being. “I called on a Saturday morning … and Dr. Jodi took me within an hour,” said one relieved patient. Another added, “She took me the very next day on a Sunday!!!” With flexibility in scheduling and rapid response times, you can count on us to provide timely care exactly when you need it.

Personalized One-on-One Continuity of Care

From your very first consultation through post-treatment checkups, you’re always in Dr. Jodi’s capable hands. Unlike larger dental clinics where you might see a rotating staff, here you’ll experience seamless continuity: “You are in her hands from start to finish, and she will take great care of you.” This personalized approach not only saves time but fosters deep trust. Our patients appreciate knowing that the professional who plans their treatment is the same one who performs every step of it.

Trust & Professionalism

Trust is the foundation of every healthy smile—and we earn it through unwavering honesty and integrity. Many patients say, “I trust her work completely,” and “Dr. Jodi is hands down the most caring and compassionate dentist I have ever gone to.” Whether discussing treatment options or mapping out a long-term dental plan, we offer clear explanations, realistic expectations, and the highest ethical standards. You’ll always be empowered to make informed decisions about your dental health.

Thoughtful Patient Touchpoints

At Slootsky Artistic Dentistry, the small details make a big difference. After your appointment, you can expect personalized follow-up texts checking in on your recovery: “I enjoy getting my texts from Dr. Jodi 😊.” These messages aren’t automated—they’re heartfelt check-ins that reinforce our commitment to your comfort. Back in the office, you’ll spot smiling faces—and even adorable cat pictures—creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that patients love. As one visitor quipped, “She also has the cutest cat pictures, so you should honestly make up a reason to see her just to see those.”
