Super Shoes

Nestled in the heart of Reading, PA, Super Shoes is more than just a shoe store—it’s a community haven where every foot finds its perfect fit. From nimble sneakers and everyday casuals to rugged work boots and specialty footwear, Super Shoes has built a reputation for delivering quality, style, and value. Whether you’re a local seeking a dependable pair of steel-toe boots for the job site or a parent hunting down the right size for your growing child, you’ll find Super Shoes to be an inviting, well-stocked destination.

A Vast, Specialized Selection

Walk through Super Shoes’ aisles and you’ll immediately sense the breadth of choices. Customers consistently praise the store’s exceptional range, especially for those hard-to-find sizes. If you’re a shopper seeking men’s shoes above size 12, you’ll be relieved to discover racks brimming with styles in sizes 13–15 and beyond—a rarity that has made Super Shoes a go-to spot for big-footed customers. Workboot aficionados will appreciate the clearly marked steel-toe section, where signage guides you right to the gear you need for safety and comfort. While some reviews note occasional gaps—particularly in kids’ shoes or very niche specialty models—most agree that the store’s inventory outpaces many competitors in both variety and depth.

Unbeatable Pricing and Value

One of Super Shoes’ greatest draws is its competitive pricing. Shoppers frequently comment that the store’s shoes are “cheaper than online anywhere else,” and the regular BOGO 50%-off promotions only add to the excitement. Whether you’re replacing your daily walking sneakers or upgrading to heavyweight work boots, you’ll notice that your dollar goes further here. The carefully curated sale tables, including a notorious mismatched-shoe section, offer hidden bargains where lucky customers snag perfectly wearable pairs at remarkably low costs. This dedication to value empowers local families and professionals alike to invest confidently in quality footwear without overspending.

Warm and Empathetic Service

At Super Shoes, it’s not just about the shoes—it’s about the people. Many guests rave about the friendly, knowledgeable staff who greet you with a smile and make personalized recommendations. One customer shared how an associate’s kindness “saved me from having a horrible accident,” offering the use of an employee restroom when it was urgently needed. Though a handful of visitors have encountered indifferent moments—such as unacknowledged arrivals—the majority experience genuine warmth and patience, whether they’re sizing up kids’ athletic shoes or debating the best fit for steel-toe work boots.

A Welcoming Shopping Environment

You’ll immediately notice the bright, organized layout that makes finding your perfect pair a breeze. Clean displays and wide aisles ensure you can move effortlessly from shelf to shelf, sampling styles and sizes without feeling cramped. High-contrast signage leads you to kids’ corners, athletic sections, and specialty work-footwear zones, while the well-maintained fitting areas invite you to step in and try on several options. A few patrons have mentioned that lighting near the back could be brighter and that public restrooms are not available—but overall, Super Shoes’ tidy, clutter-free atmosphere fosters a relaxed shopping journey.

Swift and Smooth Checkout

Time is precious, and Super Shoes respects that. Many customers applaud the speedy checkout process, noting that “quick service” and “friendly cashiers” make even a busy afternoon trip feel efficient. From scanning barcode after barcode to bagging your selections, the register teams work diligently to keep wait times low. Occasionally, a less experienced cashier can slow things down—some have waited up to 30 minutes during peak times—but these instances are the exception rather than the rule.
